Amrop Welcomes Gabriella Jonsson As Partner in Sweden
Gabriella Jonsson joins Amrop as a new Partner in Stockholm. With her experience and perspectives, Gabriella will work together with the rest of the Partner team to contribute to the revitalization of the executive search and leadership services industry in the Nordics and beyond.
“What drew me to Amrop’s Stockholm team was the level of seniority and combined wealth of experience of the Partner group, paired with their strong will to drive renewal and change, specifically within the areas of diversity, gender equality and digitalization. The Stockholm team has already made great progress - in the past year the firm placed equally as many women as men in top positions. I now look forward to continue building our business for the future,” says Gabriella Jonsson.
Amrop is one of the world's leading organizations in identifying and positioning leaders at board and management level. The firm operates 75 offices in 53 countries and is the only executive search firm with representation in all Nordic and Baltic countries.
Svein Ruud, Managing Partner in Stockholm and a member of Amrop’s global Executive Board, says, “We constantly need to develop and keep up with the changing world around us in order to remain relevant and deliver value to our clients. This impacts everything from digital change and the need for new skills profiles, to our ability to identify and attract a diversity of backgrounds into leadership positions. With Gabriella's experience and innovative thinking, we reinforce our ability to positively impact the industry.”
Gabriella joins Amrop from McKinsey & Company, where she held the role of Recruiting Manager Sweden. Prior to McKinsey she was with Russell Reynolds Associates, where she worked with clients within the Consumer and Retail sectors. Not only does Gabriella have relevant executive search experience, she is also passionate about the industry. “I have always been genuinely interested in people and leadership. Search gives me the opportunity to work in the interface between business and leadership, which I find extremely rewarding,” says Gabriella.
